What You'll Do
Make a Direct Impact:
- Guide residents through crucial benefits and services
- Create engaging programs that build community
- Advocate for residents' needs and rights
- Coordinate essential support services
- Lead crisis intervention when needed
Build Strong Connections:
- Partner with healthcare providers and social services
- Develop relationships with local organizations
- Work closely with property management team
- Create lasting bonds with residents
What You'll Need to Succeed
Required Experience & Skills:
- 3-4 years in HUD/Affordable Housing, Senior Living, or related field
- MARSCH certification (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Strong knowledge of:
- HUD regulations and compliance
- Medicare/Medicaid programs
- Elderly/disabled services
- Benefits programs (Social Security, SNAP, etc.)
What Makes You Stand Out
- Previous Resident Service Coordinator experience
- Knowledge of Massachusetts housing programs
- Experience with elderly/disabled populations
- Strong crisis management skills
- History of long-term commitment to roles
