The Role:
* Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
* Maintain a positive relationship with representatives of government agencies who survey and inspect the community.
* Supervise assigned department directors, attend and participate in department director meetings.
* Meet with residents to solve problems and concerns, assist in determining when a higher level of care is needed.
* Assist in developing budget, prepare monthly financial analysis and cash flows, and approve purchase orders.
* Monitor in-service education for employees.
* Assist director of operations, administrator/executive director, and marketing team with occupancy development.
* Conduct special projects as assigned by the executive director.
Marketing & Sales Leadership:
* Understand and have the ability to influence sales culture
* Hold sales teams accountable to utilization of sales systems and standard
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* The technical knowledge required is best obtained through BS or MS degree in business, health care, hotel/restaurant management, or closely related area.
* A minimum of 7 years of experience in health care, or life plan community is preferred.
* CA RCFE license preferred or the willingness to obtain one.
* Background knowledge in financial management.
* A broad understanding of federal and state laws related to the operation of the community.
* Ability to effectively supervise staff members and to work cooperatively as part of a team.

Estimated Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
