Accordingly, the RWDSU has the exclusive right to bargain over the terms and conditions of employment related to this position and this position may become covered by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement (a CBA ) between Housing Works and the RWDSU Compensation: $17/hr Overview: The part-time Residential Aide (RA) is responsible for ensuring the well-being of the clients and promoting their safety and security during shifts. The RA provides crisis intervention as necessary to uphold residential and facility security. Shifts are scheduled from 8 am to 4 pm, 4 pm to 12 am, and 12 am to 8 am, covering all days of the week, including holidays as required.Responsibilities: Primary:
  • The RA oversees adherence to the residence's operating policies and procedures.
Secondary:
  • The RA works with the client's clinical and program staff to help optimize the health and wellness of residents.
Other functions that may be required with this position include:
  • Conducting periodic facility walk-throughs during a shift.
  • Assist case management with discharges perform hourly wellness checks
  • Maintain excellent customer service and confidentiality at all times.
  • Light custodial work consists of cleaning tables, chairs, minor spills, and trash removal.
  • Provide COVID-19 screening (i.e. temperature checks) to all visitors, staff, and clients who enter the residential facility.
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding calls outs, request for PTO and any emergencies that may occur.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of work experience.
  • Certificate of Fitness to operate a Fire Panel.
  • Must use PPE provided by Housing Works during your shift.
