Residential Assistant - Youth Consultation Services : Job Details

Malcolm House is a 24-hour psychiatric residential treatment facility program that provides short-term residential care for psychiatric/developmentally disabled clients.Duties include but are not limited to:* Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities* Play an active role in leading the milieu staff through youth's structured routine while collaborating with youth's case manager, clinician, and prescriber* Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans* Maintain a clean, safe environment* Observing, documenting, and acknowledging positive behaviors* Perform all other duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma 3 or more years working with youth in a group or behavioral setting.Bachelor degree in a related social service field with 1 year experience (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health etc.), Psychology preferred.
