This position is responsible for supervising direct care staff as well as working as part of the direct care team who collectively provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and regulation.RESPONSIBILITIESSupervising program activity as related to client treatment plansSupervision and evaluation of direct care staffWorking as part of staff-to-youth ratio and on-call system, mentoring and training staffAssisting in crisis intervention as needsOther administrative tasks related to running the unitEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSRequires an Associate's degree plus 3 years of experience, Bachelor's degree preferred, OR high school plus at least 5 years of experienceRelated experience with vulnerable populations/older adolescent population is requiredMust have supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to manage a residential unitMust have valid, clean driver's licenseAbility to work variable shifts required including evenings, weekends and holidaysABOUT NORTHERN RIVERSIf you want a rewarding career where you make a positive impact on children and their families, we want to talk to you!
