Role and Responsibilities:
* Generate and qualify leads for residential HVAC services through various channels, including referrals, cold calls, and company-provided leads.
* Conduct on-site visits to assess customer HVAC needs, evaluate equipment, and provide tailored solutions.
* Present and explain product and service options, including cost estimates, financing options, and available warranties.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the sales and installation process.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC products, industry trends, and Comfort Temp's offerings to accurately address customer questions and provide informed recommendations.
* Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation for each sale, including contracts, financing applications, and service agreements.
* Collaborate with the installation and service teams to ensure seamless communication and scheduling for customers.
* Participate in regular sales meetings to discuss strategies, product updates, and sales techniques.
* Continuously work to enhance sales skills and stay current with industry standards and technologies.
Requirements & Abilities:
* Experience: At least two years of experience in sales, preferably in HVAC, home improvement, or a related industry.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to customers.
* Customer-Oriented: Strong commitment to customer satisfaction, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
* Sales Proficiency: Proven ability to prospect for sales, negotiate, and close deals.
* Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple sales activities in a fast-paced environment.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus, but training will be provided if needed.
* Software Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HVAC or sales training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
* Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and working on-site at customer locations.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds as necessary for product samples and materials.
