The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing carpentry projects, from custom cabinetry to home remodeling, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. As a Residential Lead Carpenter, you will play a key role in bringing our clients' visions to life, leading a team to deliver beautifully finished projects that reflect the individuality of each homeowner.Who we are: Golden Touch Construction, Inc. is a family-owned business with over 25 years of experience serving Southern California. Specializing in home construction and remodeling, Golden Touch Construction started as a custom cabinetry provider for kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and home entertainment centers. The company has since expanded its services to new home construction and general home remodeling, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. With an in-house design team that uses top-quality materials and advanced software, Golden Touch Construction delivers personalized, high-quality home projects without relying on subcontractors.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee and manage carpentry tasks on custom home remodeling and construction projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and entertainment centers.
  • Lead a team of carpenters and ensure efficient workflow, safety, and high-quality craftsmanship on all projects.
  • Perform detailed work, including custom cabinetry, framing, trimming, and installations, ensuring all work meets Golden Touch Construction's high standards.
  • Collaborate with the design team to interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications, ensuring the project aligns with customer expectations.
  • Supervise and train team members, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring the use of the latest tools and techniques.
  • Communicate directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns during the project.
  • Perform on-site problem-solving and adjustments as needed to complete the project on time and within budget.
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety and quality at all times.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Carpenter or similar role in custom carpentry, home remodeling, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools, with a focus on custom cabinetry and home renovations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and training teams on-site.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Bilingual (Plus)
