Typical Duties: - Serves Students. Supervises Resident Assistants, Hall Directors, and Front Desk Attendants, overseeing their recruitment, professional development, scheduling, and compliance with policies and procedures. They also manage staff meetings, performance reviews, and training.
- The Residential Life Lead fosters a community environment that promotes student responsibility and accountability by planning programs for personal and intellectual growth, enforcing rules, responding to incidents, managing emergencies, and providing crisis support in residence halls.
- As part of the on-duty team, the Residential Life Lead manages on-call rotations, ensures front desk coverage, supports communication with campus police, and collaborates with Risk and Facilities Management for safety drills, maintenance, and inspections.
- The Residential Life Lead designs and implements a diverse programming calendar, including social, academic, and safety-focused events, and serves as an advisor for the Residence Hall Association. They also support student involvement in late-night events, special programming, and institutional initiatives.

Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in Counseling, Education, or related field, AND one (1) year of professional experience in an educational setting, AND two (2) years of supervisory experienceOR
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, or related field of study, AND one year of professional experience in an educational setting, AND two (2) years of supervisory experienceOR
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be considered; additional experience in residence life, housing, or student affairs is preferred
Salary: $50,544 - 53,577 per year, depending on experience.
