POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Representative inspects the progress of new home construction in the pre-drywall stage and prior to closing to make sure that all products meet consistent standards. The QA Rep will also review and provide a report on completed Stage 10 Homes. They will also assist with training of construction department personnel.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Knowledge of residential home building and residential inspections
  • Ensuring that homes adhere to quality standards
  • Preparing reports, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Create quality measurements to track progress
  • Adhere to industry quality and safety standards
  • Travel is required from one location to another. This may exceed 100 miles per day.
  • Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
  • Analyze and investigate quality issues to ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
  • Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final inspection so the products are up to company standards
  • Work closely with the construction and sales team
  • Performs other projects and related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of building codes and certification is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional manners and a strong ethical code.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
