Additionally, this position will provide direct supervision and leadership to all Relief Mental Health Workers. This position may occasionally need to fill in working directly with the youth.This position will work Wednesday - Saturday Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Regular communication with Program Managers, Assistant Program Managers, and other leaders to identify all scheduling needs in the unit. Complete, update, and revising staffing schedule for all YBGR lodges and group homes utilizing the least amount of overtime and relief possible paying particular attention to milieu acuity and staff experience. Responsible for finding coverage for staff call-offs, vacations, and other time missed. Create and provide all new mental health workers (lodge and group home) with shadowing schedule working with the training department to assure all new staff meet training requirements. Bi-Weekly contact with all relief staff to place them in schedule openings for each lodge or group home.Utilize selected YBGR scheduling software to optimize scheduling efficiency and minimize staff shortages and overages.Monitoring staffing patterns, identifying trends, and generating reports to inform staffing decisions and resource allocation.Assist as needed in conducting interviews for Mental Health Workers and Relief Mental Health Workers.Contribute to the strategic goals and outcomes of the agency as measured by the development and achievement of individual, departmental, and organizational goals and outcomes. Participate in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) goals of the organization, both individually and as a team member.Deal constructively and helpfully with all other members of the organization. Fully support and model the mission and values of YBGR.Adhere to all policies, systems, safety requirements, and procedures of the organization.Take the initiative to identify problems and seek out solutions.Be a professional representative of the organization to those outside it.Participate and engage in monthly supervision/coaching meetings with the supervisor.Be aware of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the youth and staff members.Participate in required training as appropriate to the position and beneficial to YBGR.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- 21 years old or older
- Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana.
- High School Diploma or GED
