To assist in performing non-professional support work involving the direct care of individuals and the implementation of active treatment plans by providing care, guidance, and training. Level of Work:Entry. Supervision Received:Close from a Residential Services Specialist 5 or a higher-level professional staff member. Supervision Exercised:None. Location of Work:Department of Health and Hospitals, Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities, residential care facilities or community homes for individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities; schools and hospitals. Job Distinctions:Differs from Residential Services Specialist 2 by the absence of experienced-level duties and by the presence of close supervision.
