Location: Hampton, NH Responsible for service delivery to the students in the assigned residential program, in accordance with program goals and each students' Individual Treatment Plan. The Supervisors are responsible for creating and maintaining positive; supportive, and always professional relationships with staff and students. In addition, the supervisors manage the Youth Counselors on their shifts and work with leadership to continue improving the treatment and program in general. Position SummaryResponsible for service delivery to the students in the assigned residential program, in accordance with program goals and each students' Individual Treatment Plan. In addition, the supervisors manage the Youth Counselors on their shifts and work with leadership to continue improving the treatment and program in general. Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and guidance to Youth Counselors
  • Participate as a team player in MPA's residential treatment model for youth
  • Supervise youth, in accordance with MPA policies, procedures and the youth's individual treatment plans
  • Properly facilitate the residential program's routine
  • Coordinate, manage and participate in recreational and educational programming for youth
  • Clearly and professionally document all services provided according to program policies and procedures
  • Use training to provide behavioral management and crisis intervention
  • Engage in behavioral management techniques, in accordance with policies, procedures and training
  • Communicate effectively with other employees, youth and other stakeholders
  • Uphold professional conduct boundaries with youth, families and other stakeholders at all times
  • Engage and connect with youth as a compassionate professional to develop positive relationships
  • Attend professional trainings and workshops, and strive to understand and implement all trainings and workshops in residential programming
  • Manage facilities so they are clean, orderly and free of all hazards
  • Arrange laundry, phone, hygiene, and other schedules for students to meet the structured requirements of their daily routines
  • Develop and maintain Crisis Plans (ICMPs) and Incentive Plans (SBIPs) for each student in the community
  • Assist in managing the transportation fleet
  • Manage weekly communication to entire team about student progress
  • Abide by all MPA policies and procedures
  • Assist in other tasks as assigned by Program Director
Professional Expectations
  • Must be able to successfully complete all phases or pre-service training and on-going training as required by state and MPA policy.

Required Qualifications Must meet one of the qualifications below;
  • An associate' s or higher degree with a minimum of 12 credits in the field of human services, or other field related to residential care, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university.
  • The equivalent of 2 years of full-time experience working with children
  • Residential experience is highly preferred
Any combination of college credits in human services and experience with children that total 2 years, as follows:
  • Two years of full-time college equals 60 credits
  • Two years of full time employment equals 3000 hours
  • One credit equal 50 hours of experience
  • Documentation of 7 years of parenting experience
