Synerfac is seeking a Residential Trim Carpenter to fill a permanent position with our premier residential construction partner in the D.C. Metropolitan Area You will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, installing windows and doors, building structures, and completing finishing touches. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of residential construction, possess excellent technical skills, and demonstrate a strong attention to detail. - Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements. - Perform various carpentry tasks, including framing, installing windows and doors, building structures, and completing finishing work. - Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials. - Install cabinets, countertops, molding, trim, and other interior and exterior woodwork. - Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards. - Maintain tools and equipment, and perform routine maintenance to ensure their longevity and optimal functionality. - Collaborate with subcontractors and other trade professionals to ensure smooth project execution. - Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project stakeholders to address any concerns or provide updates on the progress of the project. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and tools are properly stored and disposed of. Job Requirements - Extensive experience in residential carpentry with a proven track record of successful projects. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
