As a Respiratory Therapist at Health System Services, you will be responsible for setting up and managing CPAP, BIPAP, and NHV therapies in patients' homes or in office, conducting ventilator checks, and providing education on respiratory equipment and disease management. You'll work closely with patients, local hospitals, and referral sources to ensure high-quality care and improve patient outcomes. 🚀 About the Position
Health System Services is seeking a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory team in Albany, NY.
Set patients up on CPAP, BIPAP, and NHV therapy in office and in their homes.
Conduct ventilator checks and oxygen titration/evaluation for O2 patients on conserving devices and POC's.
Provide instruction on use of equipment and education on respiratory disease state.
Setting up neonatal to adult patients on ventilators and performing monthly service checks while coordinating with local hospitals and referrals.
Schedule all patient equipment set ups, follow ups, mask refits, etc.
Keep detailed call logs of all phone communication, phone call attempts, and scheduled appointments.
Instruct patients thoroughly on use of all Respiratory Equipment.
Enter patient data into CPAP compliance tracking program.
Follow up on patient progress, work to increase patient compliance.

Ability to travel to patients within the greater Albany area.
🎓 Qualifications for Success
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the relevant state is required.
Strongly prefer candidates with experience in the Respiratory field.
At least one year of experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required.
