Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Respiratory Therapist, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring optimal health for our patients. You'll work closely with nurses and physicians to provide high-quality and compassionate care in respiratory and cardiac diagnostics for a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adolescents, and adults. We are committed to delivering conscientious, cost-effective service in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Schedule

Full Time, Night Shift 12-hour shifts 5:30pm-6:00am Every other weekend $20,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy required

Licensure/Certification/Registry:

  • Certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Therapy required
  • CPR certification required

Experience: Previous health care experience preferred

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to function autonomously; highly motivated and self-directed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic and advanced therapeutic procedures for patients across all age groups following departmental policies.
  • Communicate timely changes in patient therapy to nursing staff and department leadership.
  • Provide effective education to patients, their families, and coworkers as appropriate.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures safely and accurately according to departmental protocols.
  • Execute emergency and acute pulmonary and cardiology procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain clinical and professional competency in relevant practices.
  • Demonstrate age-specific competency for respiratory and cardiology procedures.
  • Assemble and troubleshoot department equipment as needed.
  • Assist with clerical tasks within the cardiopulmonary department.
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested.
