This position will perform other tasks such as but not limited to handling cash, taking orders, delivering orders, cleaning work areas, stocking product and counting inventory. The Waiter/Waitress shall perform all functions in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, as well as established policies and procedures of the department as well as the Casino.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThe following is a list of the essential duties/responsibilities.
- Greet customers and up sell any products such as appetizers or daily specials.
- Have working knowledge of the menu and the ability to answer any questions.
- Refill drinks throughout the meal.
- Communicate with customers to resolve complaints or ensure satisfaction.
- Process customer bills and take payments.
- Clean food service areas.
- Stock serving stations or dining areas.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Attends all scheduled team member meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- To graciously greet and welcome guests and ensure that all related activities are conducive to the guest experiencing the highest quality level of service.
- Ensures guest satisfaction, of food, drink quality, and cleanliness.
- Accurately taking food and beverage order.
- Explaining and describing menu items to customers.
- Describing preparation methods of menu items.
- Ensuring the accuracy of completed orders prior to delivery to customers.
- Delivering condiments, accessories and tracking drink orders.
- Professional appearance (well-groomed).
- Responsible for making change out of issued banks.
- Insure compliance with legal requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages.
- Any additional duties as assigned by the F&B Management, Food and Beverage Director, and/or General Manager/Executive Director.
- Has knowledge of common drinks being served, ingredients, and prices.
- Answer questions about drinks an up-selling recommendations upon request.
- Check guests identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Provide information regarding the Sac & Fox Nation, casinos, restaurants, directions to other destinations, schedules of activities, and any other information needed by the guests.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to perform assigned duties in highly interruptive conditions with consistent pressure.
- Must have developed strong interpersonal skills.
- Must have excellent verbal communication with team members to include respectfulness.
- Must have excellent attitude and customer service experience to deal with both internal and external customers (internal is all team members of the Casino & Gaming Commission; external are the Casinos customers, vendors, and other government entities).
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of OR the ability to learn to operate the food preparation and other equipment used in the Restaurant.
- Works cooperatively and fosters teamwork by helping team members with essential functions.
- Ability to obtain Gaming License from the Sac and Fox Nation Gaming Commission.
- Legally able to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a thorough background-check as prescribed by Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
- Must have basic math skills and cash handling skills.
- Availability to work any shift, start time, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other front-line personnel.
- Maintain professional appearance.
- Ability to obtain ABLE license through State of Oklahoma and Liquor License through Sac & Fox Tax Commission.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED required. The ability to read English and understand either written or verbal instructions. Prior restaurant experience helpful.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze and interpret the policies and procedures of the department and Casino.
