Company Overview: Restoration Design Group is an interdisciplinary engineering and landscape architecture firm focused on stream and wetland restoration along with the development of public parks, open spaces, and trail networks. Our clients are primarily public agencies and open space districts around the San Francisco Bay Area although our portfolio extends from Los Angeles to southern Oregon.
RDG's design work typically integrates environmental restoration with public access as well as projects focused on specific resource goals such as salmonid passage and habitat restoration. We are most frequently the project prime, and our role includes project development, collaboration with an array of scientist and engineers, facilitation with stakeholder groups, development of interpretive programs, preparation of construction documents, regulatory compliance, and project monitoring.
Our mission as a firm is to create places that allow for people to play, observe, retreat, relax, and reconnect with the natural world within a landscape that provides ecological services even in the urban context.
