The preferred candidate for this position will possess the ability to lead, coach, and motivate the Retail staff to ensure consistent behaviors and processes that will enhance the client experience. This individual will develop and maintain up-to-date information for the Retail area by partnering and collaborating with Retail team members. They will oversee policies and procedures at the branch level and ensure development and compliance with the Bank's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This individual will manage the Training Specialist and Market Branch Bankers, and coach and develop all Retail team members.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for the development of Retail staff, including working with the Retail team and Training Specialist to ensure branch teams are thoroughly trained and ensure all provide a consistent customer experience, evaluate training needs and work with appropriate team members to develop and deliver a consistent customer experience, and determine staffing needs and oversee Market Banker staff to fill in, as needed.Oversee and monitor operational compliance, including monthly operations reports, serving as a liaison for SOP work groups to ensure the bank is aligned with SOP, and working with branches to ensure account exceptions are cleared in a timely manner.Responsible for branch audit preparation, including overseeing quarterly audits of all banking center managers, overseeing mock audits for each location to include cash, compliance, security/internal audit, and safe deposit as needed, and assisting with audit responses when needed.Assist with branch and process efficiencies, including working with Retail managers to identify areas of needed improvement, serving as primary contact for process updates to ensure they are implemented in a timely manner, and working with the Group Operations (GO) teams to update Synapsys/Workflows as needed.Manage the Training Specialist, and oversee and conduct necessary trainings with branch staff, and assist managers with ongoing Retail initiatives and training.Oversee Retail sales incentive plan administration and confirm sales data and reports to ensure accuracy in incentive payments.Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures and follows applicable banking regulations.Performs additional job related duties or special projects as assigned or required.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred.A minimum of five years of successful banking administrative and management experience required.
