We are seeking an experienced Retail Leasing Manager to oversee leasing activities for a 8-12 asset retail portfolio on the west coast. This role is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing leases with high-quality tenants while maximizing occupancy and revenue. The ideal candidate has strong market knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of executing leasing strategies that enhance property value.

Ideally, this person is located in Newport Beach with the desire to relocate to the SF, Portland, or Seattle markets within a year. Candidates in San Francisco metro or PNW will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain tenants.

Identify target tenants that align with the property's positioning and market demand.

Cultivate relationships with national, regional, and local retailers to generate leasing opportunities.

Conduct market research to identify potential tenants and emerging retail trends.

Monitor market conditions, rental rates, and competitor properties to adjust leasing strategies.

Work with property management and marketing teams to enhance tenant mix and shopping center appeal.

Qualifications:

3+ years of retail leasing experience, preferably with a commercial real estate firm or retail landlord.

Strong negotiation and deal-making abilities.

Excellent understanding of lease structures, CAM charges, and retail tenant requirements.
