In this role you will work 4 days per week with periodic availability to pick up shifts for additional pay. Amberwell Pharmacy is located inside Amberwell Hiawatha Hospital which provides a smooth continuation of care for our patients transitioning out of the various areas within the hospital. This provides the opportunity to partner with our inpatient pharmacists to not only provide excellent and efficient care, but to also effectively collaborate with providers across the health care spectrum and properly educate our patients/caregivers in the process.This is a full-time on-site role for a Retail Pharmacist at Amberwell Pharmacy in Hiawatha, KS. The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for directing and supervising the activities of all pharmacy associates while providing high quality, patient-centered pharmacy services. The Pharmacist in Charge creates outstanding patient experience through exceptional service and patient care by establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages our patients to return. The Pharmacist in Charge achieves sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitors and controls all established quality assurance standards. - Experience:
- Minimum Required Experience: 1+ year experience in retail/outpatient pharmacy
- Preferred Experience: 1+ years experience in management/director position (retail or hospital)
- Education:
- Minimum Required Education: Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy or RPh
- Preferred Education: Doctor of Pharmacy
- Licenses:
- Minimum Required Licenses: Current Kansas Pharmacist License in good standing
- Preferred Licenses: N/A
