About the Role:

As a Retail Project Management Director, you'll be responsible for department-related management services for a dedicated financial services retail client account or program to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. The selected candidate should have proven experience with large volume retail bank branch projects. This is a hybrid opportunity and will require some travel as well as the ability to report to your nearest office.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
  • Direct all phases of large-volume retail capital improvement, renovation, infrastructure, ADA and exterior upgrade projects.
  • Ensure contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeouts are accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Develop new business growth and maintain existing business relationships.
  • Maintain full responsibility for the financial performance of market, program, and client accounts.
  • Identify project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines and key drivers that impact performance.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Identify and solve complex operational and organizational problems.
  • Significantly improve existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

  • What You'll Need:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the real estate industry, financial analysis, project management, construction, and business operations.
  • Proven experience with large-volume retail bank projects and clients is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance management is preferred.
  • Ability to convey performance expectations and handle complex information.
  • Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets impacting multiple department results.
  • Experience utilizing PMWeb project management software is preferred; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills and the ability to calculate financial-related calculations.
  • Ability to travel to meet with clients or visit sites may be required.

    Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $150,000 annually and the maximum is $175,000. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend's applicable benefit program. This role includes benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
