RETAIL STOCKERRetail Stockers are responsible for making sure the grocery section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance. Retail Stockers will stock shelves, order product, build displays, unload trucks, organize the back room and clean store areas as required. They must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers and are expected to complete any other tasks assigned. Retail Stockers will follow all store and safety rules.RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer ServiceStocking Product; Maintaining Shelf / Backstock Standards on assigned aisles / sectionsWhen facing aisle and doing pull downs at beginning of shift note green/red dots and replenish items in aisle as neededUpholding all food safety rules and cleaning schedulesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESExcellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamBasic computer skillsAbility to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow team members and customersAbility to follow instructions and proceduresAbility to learn about natural and organic foods, terms, and productsStrong work ethic and integrityAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgencyUse of tools and equipment, including box cuttersLifting up to 50lbs unassistedThe policy of Staff of Life is to fully comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations in the area of non-discrimination in employment.
