Overview: As a Retail Store Leader, you will harness your leadership talents to inspire, train, and elevate your team to meet our exceptional quality benchmarks. Reporting to the General Manager, you will act as their right hand and manage daily operations in their absence. You will dramatically enhance overall store performance by exemplifying account management, marketing, and compliance, all while delivering an unparalleled customer experience in our dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach, mentor, and oversee Customer Service Team Members to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and Company policies.
  • Evaluate financial transactions, accurately process loan and pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and ancillary products.
  • Build strong customer relationships and conduct daily inbound and outbound call campaigns to drive new business, maintain store profitability, and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Adhere to office security protocols and manage proper opening and closing procedures, including inventory and cash drawer management.
  • Supervise account management and recovery processes, emphasizing customer service to avoid loss and charge-off accounts, including making collection calls.
  • Uphold a compliant work environment according to Company policies and local, state, and federal regulations; conduct store audits and compile financial data to ensure staff compliance.
  • Ensure the store's internal and external appearance remains pristine, addressing maintenance needs proactively.
  • Assist in overseeing store operations and daily activities in the General Manager's absence.
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment while meeting individual and team performance standards.
  • Maintain a regular, full-time work schedule, including weekends, totaling at least 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of supervisory or relevant leadership experience.
  • A minimum of one year in customer service, retail, or sales roles.
  • Hands-on cash management experience is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with phone, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Background check is required (subject to applicable law).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for prolonged periods, transporting up to 25 pounds, and moving around the store.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, and money order processing.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for some locations.
