Job Title Retention Specialist Job Description As a Retention Specialist, you are responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned sales goals and objectives through customer retention, add-on sales, upgrades to existing accounts, and/or migration to additional Sage cloud products/services while delivering an extraordinary customer experience. Key Responsibilities •A consultative, value based selling approach is utilized to increase the adoption and utilization of Sage solutions via renewals, add-ons, upgrades, cross-selling and connected services. •A customer success mindset to drive effective change across critical touchpoints by tracking customer performance while working within the organization to deliver a seamless customer experience. •Input, update, and maintain customer and/or customer order data. •Ability to learn complex processes and systems in a timely manner turning what you have learned into actionable productivity. •Provide customers with an excellent customer experience via inbound queue calls and outbound calls to the active customer base. •Use root cause analysis to identify problems, and use your technical knowledge to resolve issues and remove barriers. •Participate cross functionally as needed, working with others to solve problems as they arise. •Track and maintain accurate records of all activities, target close dates, sales potential and close probabilities. Qualifications: •1+ years of business-to-business consultative sales experience achieving/overachieving an individual sales quota or equivalent experience is required. •Must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize key activities. •Experience with CRM sales order entry process. •Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. •Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. •Demonstrated ability to learn complex systems and processes to solve problems.
