Bullitt County Public Schools is always looking for Retired BCPS Teachers to be Substitute Teachers.Candidates must be a Certified Teacher You must wait 90 days after your retirement date to apply or work in the district.Substitute Teachers Steps to become a substitute teacher.

• Send/email your Daily Wage Letter from KTRS
• You will need to complete the State Mandated CAN (Child Abuse & Neglect) check yourself ($10.00 Fee)
• If you have been retired less than 1 year, you need to complete a Reemployment Certification Form for Teachers' Retirement System
• You will complete the rest of your rehire paper work through TalentRecords.

**If your retirement from Bullitt County Public Schools is less than 1 year you will not be required to get a background check or physical!
