This position involves assessing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems, focusing on retrofitting modern systems into existing residential and commercial properties. • Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to determine the best HVAC solutions for retrofitting into existing structures.
• Install HVAC systems, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and adherence to the latest energy efficiency standards.
• Provide detailed explanations and demonstrations to clients on system operations, maintenance requirements, and energy-saving tips.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure the timely completion of projects and to resolve any installation or retrofit challenges.
• Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and retrofitting techniques to provide innovative solutions to our clients.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during installation and maintenance activities.

• 1year + experience as an HVAC Apprentice

Expectation to acquire proper licensing within a reasonable timeframe. Eligible for reimbursement by R & R.

• Gas Mech1 license
• WA Elec Trainee card
• EPA

Apprentice 2: Knowledge Education and Experience

• 2+ years experience as an HVAC Apprentice
• Gas Mech1 license
• WA Elec Trainee card
• EPA

Required Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on occasion as business demands.

Work Environment: As a Retro HVAC Apprentice at R & R Heating & Air Conditioning, you'll work on-site to install and repair heating and cooling systems in both indoor and outdoor environments. The role involves varied weather conditions, physical tasks like lifting and climbing, and collaboration with a skilled team.
