The Supervisor I is an entry level Supervisor who is responsible for assisting the DC Manager in leading, motivating and overseeing all aspects of the Distribution operations. This includes meeting all assigned goals and objectives relating to production deadlines, production quality management, financial expense controls, customer service communications, vendor compliance requirements and personnel management.Responsibilities:
- Oversees all building staff in direct support of the Manager
- Direct support for employees on timekeeping, employee relations issues, or support needed on day-to-day items.
- Responsible for delivery of Monthly Safety Topic
- Monitors productivity, attendance, safety, and accuracy of staff, along with making appropriate corrections to deficiencies.
- Responsible for partnering with DC Coordinator on the Recruitment of temporary contract support, open positions, release of temporary employees.
- Ensures staff are all using ISO compliant work
- Assist in development of ISO Work Instructions
- Investigates errors and corrects staff on
- Contributes to 5S and Process Improvement Initiatives
- Proactively seek new ways of saving additional time and expenses in
- Meet all assigned projects and
- Complete projects on time with good quality and within the boundaries
- Supports Business partners in ensuring consumer experience is maintained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university with 3-5 years' experience in supervising within a high-volume Distribution Environment.
- Two years of direct distribution experience may be substituted for each year of
- Five years' experience with WMS, RF and Conveyor Interface Systems is
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
- Ability to write routine reports and
- Ability to speak effectively before employees of the
- MS Office Applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Dynamics 365 and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) applications experience is preferred. Radio Frequency (RF) experience is desired.
- Prior experience with Fork- Lift Operations is
