Revenue Cycle Director - Dosher Memorial Hospital : Job Details

Job Posting Revenue Cycle Director Full-Time Job Summary: Responsible for maximizing the collection of medical services payments and reimbursements from patients, insurance carriers, financial aid, guarantors, and others. Responsible for insurance eligibility processes, charge processing, claim submission and processing, payment processing, collections and accounts receivable management, denial management, reporting of results and analysis, concurrent and retrospective auditing, proper coding, credentialing, insurance contract review and oversight, customer services relative to revenue cycle, training and development relative to revenue cycle, analytics, all other revenue cycle management activities of Dosher Hospital, and other duties as assigned. Scope includes both Hospital and Clinic Network. Qualifications •Bachelor Degree in Health, Business Administration or Finance (combination of related education and operational experience in a health care organization may be substituted). •At least seven (7) years of hospital and clinic revenue cycle leadership experience required with a consistent track record of achieving metrics •At least five (5) years management/supervisory experience successfully resolving a variety of people issues Necessary Skills •Individual must have strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT, ICD10, and HCPC coding and medical terminology, as well as an overall understanding of managed care products (HMO, PPO, etc.). •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
