The Revenue Cycle Director at Whitney Young Health supervises and coordinates all aspects of the revenue cycle for the organization; including, billing and collections. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Hires, evaluates, trains and supervises personnel specific to work activities related to: Cash Collections and Patient/ Third Party Billing and collection. Collaborates with practice managers to develop and monitor procedures to ensure accurate input and collection of patient information, and to maximize individual and third party reimbursement, and identify and reduce errors. Monitors and reports on cash collections and denials by plan on a monthly basis, establishes targets and implements improvement processes to meet or beat targets. Oversees ongoing processing of patient encounters, month-end close, report generation and routine billing schedule in accordance with specified deadlines.
