Position Summary: The Revenue Cycle Manager is accountable for overseeing and optimizing the revenue cycle process at HealthPoint. This role includes managing billing, collections, claims processing, and ensuring compliance with regulations to maximize revenue and minimize payment delays. Responsibilities encompass overseeing patient accounting billing systems, processes, and procedures that support insurance verification, cash collections, and account adjudication for HealthPoint (FQHC) Medical and Dental clinics. Additionally, the Manager ensures that Patient Accounting practices are up-to-date, efficient, and compliant with HRSA and FQHC billing guidelines. Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.Your contribution to the team includes:
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining patient accounting systems, information, and reporting. Identifies opportunities to capture additional revenue based on changes in reimbursements and partners with leadership to maximize revenue.
- Work together with Coding Manager to develop workflows that streamline processes and enhance Revenue Cycle optimization.
- Responsible for hiring, performance management, talent development, employee relations, recognition, and training of coding staff by providing effective leadership. Ensure all work is completed in support and enhancement of the objectives and goals of the organization.
- Lead Patient Accounting systems, practices, and workflows to maximize operational efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and reliability. Drive continuous improvement in meeting and exceeding benchmarks and performance standards.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of current government and third-party payer-specific regulations governing billing of patient services and ensure HealthPoint is compliant with billing and documentation requirements. Keep abreast of and communicate areas of risk identified by CMS, OIG, and other relevant entities.
- Maintain and monitor KPI measures to ensure performance levels are at target.
- Partner with IS&T and eMedApps to ensure set up in NextGen is accurate and meets revenue cycle needs.
- Recommend, implement, and monitor adherence to changes in policies and procedures as necessary. Communicate with operations leaders and resolve areas of underperformance.
- Develop and achieve department goals and metrics to further the work of the department.

- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to streamline and enhance office operations using the HealthPoint Lean Management System (HLMS) tools and processes.

Must have's you'll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred. Three (3) years of management experience in Physician Practice with similar level of complexity, preferably with FQHC clinic; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of and expertise in insurance verification, billing, cash applications, insurance follow-up, collections, and overall accounts receivable management.
- Coding certification, CPC or equivalent required. Maintain CPC Coding certification or equivalent certification.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and other complex documents. Ability to write routine correspondence such as letters, email, and memos. Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and/or external clients.
- Work situations require consideration and interpretation of circumstances or information to choose the most effective response. Solutions may be technical yet relatively straightforward and well-defined once problems are understood.
- Possesses basic operating knowledge of computers. Intermediate level of Word, Excel and Outlook required.
