Revenue Cycle Specialist - Onet-Systems : Job Details

We are an established out-of-network medical billing company located in New Hyde Park, Long Island, seeking experienced Revenue Cycle Specialists with a strong work ethic and superior communication skills. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. The position requires well-rounded knowledge of the medical billing process including pre-submission review, claim submission and follow-up. Job Responsibilities:

• Review submitted claims for accuracy
• Investigate and resolve claim denials and rejections by analyzing coding and documentation
• Work on insurance appeals and corrected claims correspondence
• Create and submit appeals and corrected claims packets, and other disputes, as necessary
• Work closely with providers and administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation and billing processes.
• Ensure all billing practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements
• Utilize all available portals for claim information
• Assist with obtaining pre-authorizations when needed

Qualifications and skills required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience
• Out-of-network billing experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Must be flexible and adaptable to various work environments
• Must be computer proficient
