RF Engineer - Aquinas Consulting : Job Details

Aquinas Consulting is looking to fill an RF Engineer job for our client in Owego, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing RF circuitry for high-frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.

*Due to the nature of this job, you MUST be a US Citizen and hold an ACTIVE Secret Clearance*

RF Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Architect and design RF systems and circuitry.
• Develop and test RF circuitry used in high-frequency and microwave applications.
• Design and evaluate hardware layouts, component selection, and prototype construction.
• Prepare test methods and specifications; analyze and verify RF hardware performance.
• Provide inputs to product development for formal documentation.
• Support manufacturing during the assembly and test phase.
• Develop RF system and subsystem architectures, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transmission line equipment.
• Conduct RF system, subsystem, and component trade studies.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of RF design, including amplifiers, RF systems, synthesizers, and CCA design.
• Experience with RF hardware development, testing, and performance analysis.
• Understanding of RF architectures, circuit layout, and microwave design principles.
• Ability to work on RF subsystems, including transmitters, receivers, and amplifiers.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Active Secret Clearance Required to start.
