Rigger - Wanzek Construction : Job Details

Responsible for setting up rigging for construction projects and/or manufacturing plants. Responsibilities Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures Align, level, and anchor machinery Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings and/or confined spaces Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use. Manipulate rigging lines, hoist, and pulling gear to move or support materials such as heavy equipment Select gear such a cables, pulleys and winches according to load weights and sizes Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads in order to ensure safety of workers and materials Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability Maintain a professional appearance Other duties as assigned by Foreman and Superintendent Qualifications Education and Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED or one to three months relate...Heavy Equipment, Manufacturing, Construction
