Rigging Technician - Vertiv Holdings, LLC : Job Details

Essential Job Functions

* Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal.

* Use of hand-held controls to operate an overhead crane in a safe/efficient manner.

* Working with the shipping team and production crew to ensure that parts are moved and staged in accordance with business needs.

* Assisting in performing routine switchgear production work.

* Read blueprints to install copper and aluminium conductors using hand tools and torque wrenches

* Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. consistently and safely.

* Resolve most of the problems encountered in keeping the team on target with assistance from team members.

* Complete daily routine operations tasks for both Copper and sheet metal and when the unit is on target.

* Provide troubleshooting assistance and determine the cause of performance gaps using collaborative data knowledge and skills.

* Document/report all production quality requirements and any performance gaps ensuring all relevant troubleshooting and resolution information is recorded.

* Provide support for general engineering and electrical activities as required.

* Ensuring accuracy in maintaining production records such as quantities and types produced.

* Compliance with all safety rules and procedures.

* Must be able to work overtime when our workload demands.
