RN-Clinical Support Nurse - Pediatric STAT; NIGHTS at Albany Medical Center summary:The RN-Clinical Support Nurse in the Children's Hospital provides expert consultation and support to nursing staff in pediatric care. This role involves teaching patient care skills, managing complex patient care situations, and offering direct patient care as needed. Requires a current NYS Nursing license and a minimum of 3 years in acute pediatric care.Department/Unit: Childrens Hospital STAT RNsWork Shift: Night (United States of America)The clinical support nurse (CSN) assumes a leadership role by providing on-site expert consultation to Patient Care Services Staff in the Children's Hospital.The CSN teaches and supports staff to learn patient care skills that may require additional education or training that are not easily met by unit specific opportunities.
