DIRECTOR OF RISK MANAGEMENT AND SAFETYThe Director of Safety and Risk Management will have the authority and responsibility to develop, implement and monitor the hospital's Patient Safety Plan. He/she will administer, manage and coordinate the activities of the Hospital Risk Management Program.QUALIFICATIONS

• Florida Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager required
• Patient Safety Management and Risk Management experience and/or related experience
• Agency for Healthcare Association (AHCA) guidelines for reporting and inspection due to Risk Management (Code 15) or facilities issues.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards relating to patient safety and identification of Sentinel Events
• Report writing
• Data interpretation skills
• Basic computer operation; word processing & spreadsheets
• Effective communication skills
