Description:RESPONSIBLE FOR:Registered Nurse, PT Night Shift NewtonSign on bonus AvailablePiedmont Newton Hospital leaders held a ribbon-cutting on Nov. 6.Construction is complete on the upgraded 10- bed intensive care unit (ICU) at Piedmont Newton Hospital. The process is underway on Nov. 6 to relocate patients to the revitalized space. Notable improvements include:Larger rooms that accommodate continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) for patients in kidney failure who need continuous dialysis. With more space, these patients can now remain here at Piedmont Newton for care.New HVAC system to ensure comfortable temperatures for staff and patientsConvenient breakaway-style doorsUpdated nursing station and flooringPiedmont Newton leaders and ICU team members gathered to cut the ribbon and open the unit.
