The Clinical Practice Nurse 1 plays a vital role in patient care by administering injections, conducting allergy testing, performing pulmonary function tests (PF - Ts), and providing Ameluz treatments. In addition to hands-on clinical procedures, this role involves triaging patients to assess and prioritize their needs. Under the direction of practice providers and reporting to the Clinical Leader or Clinical Manager, the nurse delivers high-quality care through assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation. Utilizing a strong understanding of patient growth and development across the lifespan, the Clinical Practice Nurse 1 interprets clinical data to tailor care to each patients specific needs. This role requires collaboration with the healthcare team, fostering compassionate relationships with patients and their families, and exercising sound clinical judgment in all aspects of patient care.
