Patient treatment planning isthrough an interdisciplinary approach consisting of patient staffing's and special care conferences. Assist with designated management duties in a leadership role. The patients served are patients of adults in need of the supportive setting of crisis services. Program care is focused on continuity, accountability, relationship based and evidence-based services that reflects a commitment to compassionate, competent care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. Care is provided through a therapeutic relationship with the patient and supportive natural supports. A spirit of inquiry is encouraged and supported. Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of hospital administrative staff. Takes appropriate action on concerns reported by department staff related to compliance.QualificationsEducation: * Graduate of accredited nursing program * BSN Degree preferredExperience: * One (1) year of mental health clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency. License(s)/Certification(s): * Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.* Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa. * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.* Multicultural sensitivity.* Microsoft Office - basic computer skills.* Customer/patient focused.* Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions. Other: Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
