Job DescriptionJob Description:Seeking a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Medical Assistant to serve in general surgery at our Park Rapids Clinic. This RN, LPN, or CMA works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekend, holiday, or on call rotations are required. There is flexibility to offer a schedule from 32 hours weekly to 40 hours weekly. This position is eligible for full time benefits.Education Qualifications:

• Education as required for licensure.

Job Descriptions:

Registered Nurse ($33.21, or more with experience)

Is a professional practicing in a multi-faceted domain of specialty nursing that focuses on health care of individuals, families, groups, communities and entire populations. Provides care that occurs in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community out -patient settings; during tele health nursing encounters that occur in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home or business. Have authority, accountability and responsibility for nursing practice; makes decisions; and takes action consistent with the obligation to promote health and to provide optimal care recognizing that health is a universal right. Interacts with patients in concert with other health professionals, skillfully uses the nursing process to assess primary concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, apply the appropriate intervention and evaluate the outcome.

LPN/CMA ($19.55, or more with experience)

Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• RN/LPN: Current license with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing.
• CMA: Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 3 months of hire.
