Optional navy scrub jackets. - Required to complete non-billable modules before the start of assignment, estimated time: 3-4 hours. - Pre-assignment requirement of a dysrhythmia exam (basic level with two attempts allowed). - Initial facility-wide orientation takes place at a designated meeting area in the first workweek. - Bedside report shift start time at 6:45. - Staff self-scheduling is practiced through manager balancing; schedules finalized at 4-week intervals. - Floor-specific orientation is 1-2 days with a preceptor. - Possible floating to other facilities in the area; mid-shift float is rare but possible. - Facility provides 24/7 availability of respiratory therapy and pharmacy. - The presence of hospitalists or intensivists is available in-house. - No IV team; variable nurse aide support depending on census and staffing. - Utilization of the Cerner charting system. - Candidates are required to provide supportive documentation for medical declination by a physician and religious declination, without needing additional documentation. - Hospital reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per contract.
