Details Client NameJefferson Medical Center - WVU Medicine - Ranson Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyPCU Job ID30098067 Job TitleRN (Registered Nurse) Weekly Pay$2338.0 Shift Details ShiftDNR - 12X3 - 07,19 Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date01/05/2025 End Date04/06/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job DescriptionJob Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: SCU/Telemetry - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Full-time night shift, 7 pm to 7 am, rotating nights and weekends Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS required, NIHSS a plus Must-Have: Positive attitude and willingness to work Job Description:- Provide patient care on a unit with 10 beds, comprised of 5 ICU and 5 Telemetry beds.- Maintain patient ratios of 1:3-5, depending on acuity.- Utilize EPIC for charting patient records.- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.- Participate in a rotating weekend and holiday schedule as per staff rotation.- Adhere to the dress code by wearing navy blue scrubs; jackets in navy, grey, or black allowed; hair must be natural color, and excessive tattoos should be covered.- Monitor patients using Phillips Cardiac Monitors with available monitor techs and hard-wired monitors in ICU rooms.- Administer and manage drips, mechanical ventilations, Bipap, Cpap, and high-flow oxygen systems.- Float to MedSurg as needed with a full assignment, although this is rare.- Conduct floor-specific orientation with one shift on the unit under a preceptor.- Treat a variety of conditions including trauma, bowel obstructions, COPD, COVID, and overdoses.- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, hospitalist or intensivist in-house support, and remote pharmacy resources.- Engage with patients and integrate care plans effectively while maintaining a high standard of clinical excellence.- abide by the unit's cancellation policy of 2 shifts per 13-week contract.This opportunity requires an individual who can adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment while delivering high-quality patient care and demonstrating a commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.
