DetailsClient Name Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital - ML Job Type Travel Offering Nursing Profession RN Specialty ER Job ID 30308163 Job Title RN (Registered Nurse) Weekly Pay $1894.0 Shift DetailsShift Night - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours 36 Job Order DetailsStart Date 02/03/2025 End Date 06/02/2025 Duration 17 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration: 17 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Evenings (1p-1a) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ER experience in an Acute Care setting License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Must-Have: - MEDITECH 6.15 experience - Prefer 5+ years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Facility - ESI Triage training preferred - Experience with Alaris pumps Job Description: - Must adhere to a 75-mile radius rule for drivers' licenses. - Prior MEDITECH 6.15 experience required; larger ER experience is preferred. - COVID-19 Immunization is not required, but unvaccinated individuals must undergo weekly testing. - ER RNs will take an online Cardiac Rhythms test with a minimum passing score of 80% and an ESI Triage Exam during orientation. - The ER has 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 6 fast treatment chairs, 2 trauma bays, a recess bay, and a dedicated stroke room. - A 4-bed behavioral lockdown area is available, staffed by psych professionals. - Average of 140 patient visits per day. - Nursing staff will be responsible for lab draws and starting IVs. - A central monitoring tech is available, and there will be support from RT and pharmacy 24/7. - Floor-specific orientation includes 1-2 shifts, depending on comfort level. - Diagnoses range from pediatric to geriatric cases, with trauma, neuro, and ortho patients. - Dedicated triage nurse is available. - The cancellation policy allows for 12 hours every two weeks. - Weekend shifts are required every third to fourth weekend. - Holiday shifts are required every other holiday. - Scrub color is Caribbean Blue.
