RN Staff Development-Infection Control Coordinator (Long Term Care Facility) - LaGrange Care Center : Job Details

LaGrange Care Center seeks to find a Staff Development /Infection Control Coordinator to maintain or improve the patient's health and abilities at the highest practicable level and maintain their satisfaction.

***Sign on Bonus $2000.00***

1. Ensures resident satisfaction with the facility's medical care and nursing staff.

Providing medical needs, documentation, communication and oversight to meet the needs of each individual and any other methods that are appropriate.

2. Ensures family satisfaction with the resident's care.

Ensuring proper communication and documentation is done to meet all standards of care and protocols. Any other methods that is appropriate.

3. Ensures labwork is ordered, completed and followed-up on appropriately.

Constant review and audit of orders, lab completion and documentation of the entire lab process.

4.Ensures the Infection Control program identifies and prevents the speed of infections appropriately.

5. Maintains a clean and safeworking environment.

6. Meets all quality of care guidelines and have proof of care.

Maintaining accurate documentation of individual reports in all areas of responsibility and ensure follow up us completed and documented as necessary. Planning and scheduling all activities and pertinent issues to accomplish all goals, proper notification to supervisors and physicians and any other methods that are appropriate.
