RN Supervisor - Beach Garden Rehab & Nursing Center : Job Details

Position Summary/Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Provides professional nursing care to assigned residents in a nursing home environment.
• Registered Nurse with active license in NYS.
• Preferably at least two years of recent acute or long term care experience
• Experience in supervision/administration a plus!
• Good organization, communication and human relations skills.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties
• Strives for excellence in all aspects of quality nursing care
• Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications.
• Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records.
• Be personable with residents, families, and staff in a professional, cooperative and sensitive manner
• Possess the leadership qualities that motivate and direct.
• Has the ability to supervise aides in performing their duties by checking their work closely to ensure all assignments have been completed with care and accuracy
