Key Responsibilities:
As the RN Unit Manager, you will:
- Oversee higher-risk resident care activities, including infection control measures for wound care, catheter use, incontinence care, skin care, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Assessment (QAA) Committee to enhance care standards and outcomes.
- Lead infection prevention initiatives and ensure documentation aligns with facility policies.
- Provide hands-on nursing care while mentoring and supporting staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain open communication with residents, families, physicians, and the care team.
- Participate in unit performance improvement programs to continually enhance resident care and satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Active RN license in Ohio.
- Experience:
- Preferred: Long-term care and geriatric nursing experience.
- Supervisory experience is a plus (minimum of 1 year).
- CPR certification is required.
