Responsibilities

• Creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports dthe elivery of high-quality resident care.
• Creating a culture where highly engaged team members acancontribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally.
• Assuring the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel
• Serving as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management
• Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
• Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly
• Participating in facility surveys
• Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident's families

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, with a current and valid RN license in New York State
• Long-term care experience is a must.
