We are seeking a talented RPA Business Analyst to drive our automation initiatives. About the Role:

The RPA Business Analyst will be a key player in our team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions. This role requires a hands-on, self-motivated individual with experience in RPA automation using UiPath. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, identify opportunities for improvement, and build innovative solutions to address business challenges.

Responsibilities:

Opportunity Assessment and Requirements Gathering:

  • Analyze existing processes and proactively seek out opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to identify and prioritize business processes suitable for automation.
  • Elicit and document detailed business requirements for RPA initiatives, considering both current and future state needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of process maps, business rules, and requirements.
  • Evaluate potential benefits of automation such as cost savings, improved accuracy, faster processing times, and enhanced customer/employee experiences.

Solution Design, Development, and Testing:

  • Design end-to-end RPA solutions using UiPath, including workflow design, bot configuration, and integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans and scenarios to validate the functionality and performance of RPA solutions.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for iterative improvement.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to minimize errors and ensure reliability.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to end-users on using and interacting with RPA bots.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to deployed automation solutions.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize RPA processes, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve automation solutions for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in RPA and process automation.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by learning processes, seeking feedback from others, and educating stakeholders on automation possibilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in working with back-office business support processes.
  • 1+ year of experience in process design and improvement.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and their automation potential.
  • Proficiency in documenting requirements, process flows, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward in a small team environment.
  • Experience with RPA development tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).

Preferred Skills:

  • UiPath Advanced Developer certification or equivalent.
  • Experience consulting operational business process improvement.
  • Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence.
