In short, the same qualities we look for in our people.We are looking for a Roll Grinder to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!What's in it for you!To support our teams and their families beyond the workplace, we provide an outstanding benefits package effective day one of employment!•Starting wage of $34.38/hr plus shift differential•Benefits begin day 1•401K options that begin vesting day 1.•First-rate vacation plan for valuable work-life balance.•Employee resource groupsWhat you will work on:•Responsible for heavy assembly and regrinding of large rolling mill rolls.•Calibrate test equipment and maintain records.•Perform mechanical repair of roll grinding machines and fixed shop equipment.•Select, balance, and install grinding wheels.•Rough turn and grind rolls to desired shape and finish•Continuous Improvement - we couldn't do it without your owner's mindset, and all of the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN.•Safety First - our values are important to us.
