We are seeking a qualified physical Room Attendant that is highly motivated and can ensure rooms are inviting and comfortable.Applicant must have the ability to work independently and efficiently perform cleaning duties.Key Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, more than 10 lbs. often housekeeper carts can weigh more than 30 lbs. or more to push, pull.
- Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus his/her cleaning responsibilities, ensuring that each room set up is completed as required by the property.
- Ability to maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude.
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Replenish items in rooms for guest use, including but not limited to towels, linens, and amenities.
- Accommodate and anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and professionally.
- Thoroughly clean the guest room and bathroom area as assigned, (i.e. vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen, emptying trash cans).
- Report any maintenance needs or items left behind from the guest to the appropriate department.
- Become familiar and knowledgeable with the hotel's safety and emergency procedures.
